Bill Myers is vice president of Communications, Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility at DaVita HealthCare Partners, an $11 billion fully integrated healthcare company that provides a variety of health care services to patient populations throughout the United States and abroad. Bill joined the DaVita Village in March, 2010 and directs a team responsible for external communications, marketing, social media, physician outreach and CEO engagement as well as the execution of DaVita’s nationally recognized philanthropy and social responsibility efforts.
Bill previously worked at UnitedHealth Group as vice president of Government Affairs. In that role, he was responsible for tracking legislation, educating policymakers and supporting business growth initiatives with state government agencies in the Rocky Mountain West.
Bill has also been involved in campaigns and politics, having worked in Washington, D.C. as a legislative director for a member of Congress from North Carolina. Bill has also worked on numerous state- and federal-level political campaigns, including serving as deputy campaign manager and issues director of a U.S. Senate candidate in Colorado.
Bill received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University. He serves on the boards of the South Metro Chamber of Commerce, Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, Public Education & Business Coalition as well as the Corporate Leadership Council of the Children’s Hospital of Denver. Bill is also active in the Colorado Competitive Council and the Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce.
