In 2012 Jennifer Nealson joined The Denver Center for the Performing Arts as the Chief Marketing Officer to oversee all sales, marketing and communications, theater operations, box office and community & public affairs. Jennifer has management responsibility for 70 employees and over 400 volunteers.
Jennifer has a track record of creating rapid expansion by using an analytical approach as she partners with teams to co-create new ways to sell products and services. She catalyzes momentum and change while being driven by a passion to grow companies, build teams and inspire people. Jennifer’s contagious enthusiasm and experience makes her the right person to oversee all marketing efforts for The Denver Center in its quest to make a positive impact in the community with their 40 productions and extensive educational programs serving 50,000 students annually.
Throughout her career Jennifer has worked with Fortune 500 clientele such as Chase Manhattan Bank, IBM, OMNI Hotel Corp and others. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communications from the University of Nebraska and a Certificate in Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado. She has been named to the National Forbes CMO Network, and currently serves on several Boards including International Business Marketing Association (BMA), North American CMO Council and is an Advisory Committee member for the Red Cross and Puksta Scholar Foundation. Jennifer was 2012/13 president of BMA Colorado and earlier in her career served as Regent and a member of the Alumni Board of Directors at the University of Nebraska.
