For over 15 years, Marcus has been providing thought leadership and innovative solutions to some of the world’s leading brands including MillerCoors, PepsiCo and VF Corporation. Witnessing firsthand the needs and gaps that a fragmented and evolving marketplace presents to clients and their brands, he launched Huemanitas in 2008, a cross-cultural strategic marketing group providing culturally intelligent, big idea solutions. As its executive principal, Marcus has driven Huemanitas from small startup to being nationally ranked 25th of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Agencies by Agency Post.

Today, Marcus is blazing new ground into the world of corporate communications with the launch of StickyDocs, a content creation and digital publishing platform that brings data to life as content for mobile devices.

Marcus was appointed to the 2013 brand Colorado Creative Team, working in partnership with Governor Hickenlooper to rebrand the state’s identity. Additionally, he has been recognized by the American Marketers Association, the Art Director’s Club of Denver and The Society of Publication Designers. In 2007, he was honored by the ADCOLOR® Industry Coalition as a Change Agent Award Recipient, and currently serves on its Board of Directors, as well as the National Conference Chair, for its annual diversity and inclusion conference.

Passionate mentor, educator, author and influential speaker, Marcus strives to continue giving back to the industry in a variety of ways. He is the author of the first ever multicultural advertising and marketing curriculums offered at the Academy of Art University and the Fashion Institute of Technology. He is also a speaker and presenter at industry-wide events that include Advertising Week, the LatinVision Conference Series and the ADCOLOR® Diversity & Inclusion Industry Conference.
