Michael Baldwin is a leader in the communications industry with more than 25 years of experience building global brands, leading global teams, solving complex strategic problems and developing world-class creative campaigns. His company offers personal and corporate branding, executive and team coaching, and one-of-a-kind PowerPoint training that turns corporate presenters into effective communicators.
Michael studied professional acting at the William Esper Studio and the Deena Levy Theatre Studio in New York. By combining his actor’s training with deep expertise in advertising and branding, Michael creates a powerful, transformative experience that shows his trainees how to move audiences by being themselves.
Michael spent eight years with Ogilvy & Mather, where he was the worldwide account director for the IBM account. He also managed the SAP account, directing the integrated communications campaign and building a global team in over 40 countries.
Michael has held posts at other top agencies: Ammirati & Puris, BBDO and FCB. There he headed up campaigns for such clients as: Apple, Compaq, A&W Beverages and NeXT. Previously the managing director of IDology, a London-based training consultancy, he led executive coaching sessions on leadership, building global teams, presentation skills and maximizing individual performance and impact. He also transformed every aspect of its branding, identity, website and coaching materials so as to better convey the IDology message.
Professional recognition includes the David Ogilvy Award, the Cannes Gold Lion, a Clio, D&AD Silver and Ad Age’s “Best of the Year” TV Campaign award. He is a graduate of Beloit College in Wisconsin and currently resides in New York City.
